We understand donors need to be certain every penny they give goes to the project.

Donations will go through the gofundme page to the Brue Valley Rotary Club charity account. Its sister club in Stone Town Zanzibar will make payments to the local contractors.

We have costed the project in four stages and, as the money for each stage becomes available, work will start and pictures be posted regularly, here and on our gofundme page, so donors can see exactly what  is being achieved. (The stage costs are rounded up and allow for exchange rate fluctuations.)

Stage One. To dig and connect the well:-

1. Dig process

2. Water Pump

3. Hose pipe

4. Wire and its insulators

5. Ditch (from well to tower and then to toilets

6. Electrician

Stage Two. To buy the storage tank and erect the tower:

2. Sand 1 Lorry (10 tones)

Stage 3.  To buy toilet bowls, taps and plumbing requirements (pipes, joints, etc) and install them :

1. Toilet bowls and basins -

Stage Four. To buy tiles and refurbish the toilet blocks:
